Rescue Cats

If you are looking to get a cat you should consider getting a kitten. They will be easier to bond with and you can correct any bad habits as you catch it in action. An older cat, if it has not been taken care of, or has not had any boundaries will be harder to train.

Cats are the easiest animal to take care of and one of the cleanest as well. If they have been raised in a home and have a litter box all you have to do is keep it clean. Of course you need to keep food out for it too

There are rescue places that are full of kittens to be adopted to a kind and loving person. The rescue or shelter is a good place to get your kitten as it will have all its' shots. The kitten will be spayed or neutered so you won't have to worry about that problem. There are places that specialize in breeding the cats and make sure that they are purebred. Some people would never dream of owning a cat that wasn't a purebred.

All in all cats are like children, they need a lot of attention and will not hesitate to jump on your lap while you are sitting. They also like to have their stomach rubbed or to curl their body around your leg while you are standing still and sometimes even when you are walking. An older person should always be on the look out for their cat to make sure it does not trip them.
