Owning a pet will require a lot of work but it will be worth it in the long run. There are quite a few dog breeds, but you will have to consider the living conditions that they will be living in.

One good dog that you can own is a greyhound. They are a very low energy dog but they will bring you a lot of love. They love to run and sprint, and they are in a lot of rescue programs to help people out when they need it.
